A panel discussion at the fourth anti-trafficking in persons conclave in Ranchi, in the state of Jharkhand of India, March 27, 2015. The conclave brought together 275 delegates representing civil society, law enforcement, and local government from India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Burma, and the United States. At the end of the conclave, the Jharkhand state government announced new legislation to ensure the registration of domestic-labor placement agencies and to require that the proceeds from the property of convicted traffickers could be used to help their victims.
