In April, the Diplomatic Security Service (DSS) launched its official podcast series, After Action: True Stories of the Diplomatic Security Service, hosted by DSS Security Engineering Officer Damaris Garcia (right) and Special Agent Chad Hammer. Past episodes have highlighted DSS special agents who served on Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice’s protective detail, the work DSS performed in the last few days on the ground in Caracas before the U.S. Mission to Venezuela was ordered back to the United States, how DSS dismantled a child exploitation ring in Costa Rica, and what it took to catch a lifetime conman. Episodes are released on the first Tuesday of every month on most podcast platforms, including the DSS YouTube channel.
