Leaders tour U.S. Army training center in Germany

The U.S. Consulate General in Munich’s Consul General Timothy Liston (far right) accompanied Florian Herrmann (second from right), head of the Bavarian state chancellery and Bavarian minister of state for federal and European affairs and the media, on a visit to the 7th Army Training Command (7ATC) in Grafenwöhr, Germany, May 14. There, they met with 7ATC’s commanding general, Brig. Gen. Joseph E. Hilbert (second from left) and Grafenwöhr Mayor Edgar Knobloch (far left). Together the group toured the U.S. army’s largest overseas training facility from the air. During the trip they discussed sustainability efforts and ongoing European security cooperation.
