Afro-Colombian students of the 100K Strong in the Americas project, Diaspora Connect, visited the U.S. Department of State, Sept. 13, during their exchange program with Howard University in Washington. This 100K Strong partnership between Universidad del Valle (Cali), Universidad Tecnológica del Chocó (Quibdó), and Howard University promotes policy priorities on inclusive education, equity, and prosperity, creates networks across diaspora communities, and strengthens students’ leadership skills.
