ConGen Munich community celebrates Pride

The U.S. Consulate General in Munich celebrated Pride during the month of July, from supporting the “queer:raum” event in which 20 LGBTQIA+ artists performed, to participating in the largest Pride parade in southern Germany, July 16. At the parade, members of the consulate community designed and drove a massive parade truck focused on the event theme of “Less Me, More We” and showed U.S. support for the LGBTQIA+ community. Consulate Munich’s participation in the event, which drew crowds of 400,000, received overwhelming support with thousands of impressions on social media, regional, and national media outlets, and extensive positive comments.
