Loan Forgiveness Waiver nearing expiry

Department of State employees may be eligible to receive credit for student loan payments that previously did not qualify for the Public Loan Service Forgiveness (PSLF) program. The PSLF Limited Waiver, which reimburses qualified education expenses for those who have worked in public service (for a government agency, the military, or a non-profit organization), will expire Oct. 31. Thousands of federal student loan borrowers have used the waiver to get closer to total loan forgiveness. Employees can learn more and submit a waiver before the expiration deadline online.
