Embassy Bogota celebrates Pride Month

To kick-off Pride Month activities at Embassy Bogota, Chargé d’Affaires Francisco Palmieri (center in light gray suit between flags) hosted an unveiling ceremony of a 40-foot Progress Pride Flag, June 15, displayed publicly through July 3. Gays and Lesbians in Foreign Affairs Agencies, an employee organization, led the event which attracted nearly 200 embassy community members. During the event, Palmieri reaffirmed the embassy’s commitment to supporting the visibility and empowerment of LGBTQI+ people in Colombia and around the globe.
