U.S. Ambassador to Mexico Ken Salazar visited the Ford Motor Company plant in Cuautitlán Izcalli, Mexico, May 16. Salazar’s visit highlighted the benefits of U.S. companies working in Mexico and underscored the strong ties between the U.S. and Mexican economies. “We celebrate Ford’s efforts to strengthen supply chains with clean and renewable energy,” said Salazar. A series of photos and a video of the ambassador test driving a Ford were posted on Embassy Mexico City’s social media account, which received positive feedback from the community.
