Young leaders in Eswatini discuss progress at monthly embassy event

Embassy Mbabane hosts a monthly “Donuts & Dialogue” series which provides a safe place to convene young leaders and experts for powerful discussions. In the wake of civil unrest and a polarized media environment, these sessions have helped facilitate a better understanding of leadership, human rights, women’s rights, mental health challenges, civil society, and best practices for organizing grassroots movements. At a session held on Nov. 4, 2021, Regional Security Officer Matthew Perry (back left, facing crowd) and Public Affairs Officer Stephanie Sandoval (center, facing crowd), along with a local law enforcement expert, discussed policing and human rights.
