Federal News Network interviews D-MR about Department Access Center

Deputy Secretary for Management and Resources (D-MR) Brian McKeon (right) visited the Department of State’s Access Center with Federal News Network reporter Jory Heckman (left), April 22. The Access Center is a multipurpose, multifunctional space for everyone committed to creating and supporting a more diverse and accessible workplace. Department employees with disabilities can test and train on various assistive technologies such as voice-to-text software and ergonomic keyboards. Heckman interviewed McKeon about the Access Center, its services and resources, and how the Access Center and the Office of Accessibility and Accommodations’ work fit into the Administration’s focus on diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility.
