International Gender Champion meeting hosted in Geneva

Ambassador Sheba Crocker, U.S. permanent representative to the United Nations in Geneva, hosted the Geneva Hub’s International Gender Champions (IGC) Annual Meeting, March 7. More than 80 gender champions from Geneva missions, civil society, and international organizations attended the event underscoring the collective commitment to breaking down gender barriers and countering gender-based violence. The IGC network has more than 300 active champions and 280 alumni across six hubs in New York, Geneva, Vienna, Paris, The Hague, and Nairobi. Crocker became the 120th International Gender Champion in the Geneva Hub on Feb. 16.
