Highlighting U.S. air quality support at TEDxChiangMai

Partners at Chiang Mai University (CMU) highlighted the Bureau of Oceans and International Environmental and Scientific Affairs-supported Building Air Quality Monitoring Capacity in Southeast Asia program at TEDxChiangMai, Nov. 27. The implementer, RTI International, partners with local organizations including CMU and National Astronomical Research Institute of Thailand to address air quality problems in Thailand, Vietnam, and Laos. Consul General for ConGen Chiang Mai Sean O’Neill (left) visited the booth to discuss, with CMU’s Associate Professor Dr. Somporn Chantara (right), how the U.S and Thailand work together to improve air quality in the region.
