As part of Ghana-U.S. security cooperation, the United States is providing in-person peer-to-peer training and technical assistance to members of the Ghana Armed Forces. Deputy Chief of Mission Nicole Chulick (right side of table, far left) visited Tamale in northern Ghana in late October to meet with Ghanaian military leaders and welcome newly arrived members of U.S. Africa Command’s Security Forces Assistance Brigade team. The team is providing critical training for Ghanaian soldiers in areas such as advanced first aid, border protection, and military engineering.
