Azerbaijan ambassador meets students studying English

From left: Ambassador to Azerbaijan Lee Litzenberger and Information Officer Alys Spensley met with internally displaced students studying English at the American Corner in Ganja, Azerbaijan’s second largest city. The embassy has partnered with the Ganja Central Library since 2007 to operate the corner and to promote English-language learning and American culture and values. The ambassador stressed to the students how the English language is a critical life skill that will help them achieve their dreams, whether that is to study in the United States, build a successful life in the reclaimed territories, or to work toward a peaceful future in the region.
