Bujumbura PAS team shares info about American academic programs

In July, American Spaces Director Jean de Dieu Nkurunziza and EducationUSA advisor Ramadhani Sintuka from Embassy Bujumbura’s public affairs section (PAS) set off on a three-day speaking tour to Gitega, Ngozi, and Muyinga. The team shared information on academic programs in the United States and American Corner activities with hundreds of Burundian youth and thousands more in the country’s interior through radio and television interviews with local media. At one of their tour stops, members of the University of Ngozi’s Peace English Club shared their appreciation for the embassy’s book donation with Nkurunziza (seated, left) and the University’s Financial and Administrative Director Libère Ndayisenga (seated, right).
