Embassy Dhaka joins Bangladesh in celebrating 50 years of independence

Ambassador Earl Miller (front row, fifth from left) joined Bangladesh Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen and Dhaka North City Corporation Mayor Atiqul Islam, March 25, at the opening of “Friendship to All, Malice to None,” an outdoor exhibition highlighting the foreign policy of Father of the Nation Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. The event also commemorated 50 years since Bangladesh’s independence. During Miller’s remarks, he emphasized how the United States is proud to partner with Bangladesh on the most pressing global challenges, from protecting human rights to climate change to the COVID-19 pandemic.
