U.S. educational opportunities promoted in Mongolia

Embassy Ulaanbaatar’s public affairs section led a team including the country director of Peace Corps Mongolia, EducationUSA Mongolia, and the Mongolian Association of State alumni to promote U.S. educational opportunities and exchanges in Khovsgol on the Russian border, Oct. 28. This event was part of a series of visits to remote provinces, ensuring prospective students have equal access and opportunities, a vital element of the U.S.-Mongolian strategic partnership. The embassy met with local officials to discuss cooperation and to plan events following public health guidelines. EducationUSA Mongolia was recently awarded the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs Global Outstanding Team Project for its accessibility and inclusivity outreach.
