In celebration of Eid al-Adha, the U.S. Consulate General in Karachi celebrated by introducing Consul General Rob Silberstein and public affairs colleagues to traditional Pakistani barbeque techniques, including chicken, beef, and mutton kabobs. The holiday is one of the most important in Islam and is celebrated in Pakistan through charity, prayer, and festive meals with family and friends. The consulate recognized the importance of wearing masks and honored the warmth and generosity of the Pakistani people, as well as their resilience in fighting the coronavirus outbreak. Their public affairs team shared photographs from their celebration on social media, and the posts reached more than 1 million Pakistanis.
