OBO breaks ground on new embassy compound in Windhoek

The U.S. Ambassador to Namibia Lisa A. Johnson held a groundbreaking ceremony for the new Embassy Windhoek campus with Deputy Foreign Minister Jenelly Matundu and Windhoek Mayor Fransina Kahungu, July 23. The new embassy will provide a state-of-the-art, modern, secure, and resilient platform for U.S. diplomacy in Windhoek that will strengthen the three decade relationship between the United States and Namibia.
