The Virtual Student Federal Service (VSFS) is celebrating its 10th anniversary as a valuable Department of State program that connects students with projects that allow them to gain experience while advancing the work of the government on multiple fronts. This year the program will feature nearly 3,000 internships from 50 different federal agencies. Students are given the opportunity to apply to their top three VSFS projects in July, and students learn if they have been selected by Labor Day. To celebrate this program, (from left) eDiplomacy Business Practice Advisor Naomi Walcott and members of the VSFS team, Bridget Roddy and Tristan Williamson, spread the good news about the program at an anniversary event outside of the HST cafeteria, May 13.Â
